Install guide (overview)
Follow the kit manual. Support the vehicle safely. Torque to spec. Helper/reinforced springs improve support and stance but do not change GVWR or towing ratings.
Rear
- Lift and safely support the vehicle; chock opposite wheels.
- Remove the lower shock absorber bolt and support the axle; mind brake hoses/handbrake cables.
- Install MAD spring with the supplied top & bottom spring seats; ensure the spring end is correctly seated.
- Put the vehicle back on its wheels; refit the lower shock bolt and torque to spec.
After installation
- Road-test; re-torque fasteners after ~100 miles.
- Headlight aim check recommended after ride-height changes.
