Torsion Beam (Twist Beam)

Common in: small cars and compact SUVs (e.g. Toyota Corolla, Kia Niro)
Characteristics: one-piece beam with trailing arms
Helper springs: often installed inside or above coil spring

Semi-Trailing Arm with Coil Springs

Common in: older cars, some imports
Characteristics: independent suspension with angled trailing arms
Helper springs: fitted near or on top of existing coils

Multi-Link Rear Suspension

Common in: modern sedans, crossovers, EVs (e.g. Ford Escape, RAV4, Tesla)
