Helper Springs for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Keep your Sprinter level, stable and predictable under load. MAD coil-in-coil helper springs add progressive rear support—no compressors, no air lines, no maintenance.
What they fix
- Rear squat when loaded or towing
- Body roll and sway in crosswinds
- Uneven headlight aim and braking stability
Kit options
- Variable-load (progressive) — engages as the van squats; ideal for mixed use and campers.
- Constant-load — for vans carrying permanent equipment weight.
Compatibility
- Sprinter 2500/3500 — cargo, crew, passenger
- 2WD & 4x4 (select kits vary)
- Check wheelbase and rear axle before ordering

Install Guide
Read the supplied kit manual first. Support the vehicle securely and follow all safety procedures. Helper springs improve support but do not change GVWR or towing ratings.
Tools
- Jack + axle stands or lift
- Socket/torx set
- Torque wrench
- Pry bar
- Eye protection & gloves
Steps (rear axle)
- Park level; chock front wheels. Lift rear and support the axle.
- Remove rear wheels if needed for access.
- Support the axle to relieve spring load; inspect OE coils and seats.
- Position the MAD inner coil per the manual (top/bottom seats).
- Install seats/brackets and hardware. Hand-tighten.
- Center the inner coil; verify clearances (brake lines/ABS wiring).
- Torque all fasteners to spec. Re-check coil alignment.
- Reinstall wheels; lower vehicle; road-test. Re-torque after ~100 miles.
Reviews & Results
Add 2–3 customer quotes with photos and before/after ride-height (mm/in). Example:
