Which kit should I choose?
Helper springs (HV- series)
- Best for frequent loads within factory limits with minimal maintenance.
- Preserves empty-ride comfort; simple install (~30–45 min/axle).
- “Maximum support” variants require a minimum load ~400 kg to sit correctly.
Special Duty Kits (SD- series)
- Springs + tuned shocks for heavy-duty, frequent hauling or poor roads.
- Drive-specific options (FWD vs RWD/4WD) and Twin rear wheel compatibility.
- Install time 45–75 min (front spring upgrades up to 180–240 min).
FAQ
Do these raise ride height when empty?
No. They are passive without load; they support height under load.
Do they change GVWR?
No. Always operate within Ford’s published limits.
Are they compatible with e-Transit?
Unless indicated, these kits exclude e-Transit.
DIY or professional install?
Both are possible. If in doubt, book a pro installer.
